MOLE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

1 can (15 ounces [425 gm]) beans in hot chili sauce, undrained

½ cup (118 mL) coarsely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic

¼ cup (59 mL) tomato sauce

1 tablespoon (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon (2.5 mL) ground cinnamon

½ ounce (14 gm) unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped

¼ cup (59 mL) slivered almonds

1. Process all ingredients in food processor until smooth.
